watercolor practice

i hate to submit these mini drawings that aren't even full pieces D: but these are really all i feel up for right now idk i don't have the motivation to finish up owed art ; - ;

earlier =Capukat was doing watercolor so i pulled out my kit and tried it out LOL

there were minor annoyances with the brush hairs :I

but otherwise it was great! i used red and yellow and i had extra, so i drew a red tree and a wing and stuff haha

the squiggly blob under the lined koi is supposed to be fire LOL

i drew scales on some of the goldfish too but you can't see it DDDD:

thanks to capu too for all the tips for starting watercolor!! i even taped it down onto a cardboard circle to prevent curling

but as you can see even in the picture, the paper distorted D': this is just sketchbook paper, a little thicker than normal paper

obviously i need real watercolor paper ahhh

hopefully i can get better at watercolors soonn :')
