Artisan Crafts / Metal Work

soooo I made a bird in metal shop
I did make a couple things before this but I didn't feel like posting them
I felt this one was good enough to post though

my first jeweler saw thing ever :3
before this all I did was a few lines as practice

so I drew it on a paper, and then put it on a piece of metal, cut it out, and drilled a hole, then sanded.
sorry it's such bad quality; and you can't see that i cut two lines in the tail and two lines on the head to kind of look like feathers.

AND LOL THE POINTS ON THE HEAD, TAIL, AND WINGS ARE REALLY SHARP.

WOAH. It's so pretty...

How did you do the eye? I don't even think there's a drill bit small enough for that... LOL my first jeweler's saw project was like ugly. And bad. And stuff.

aha I used the smallest drill bit I could find and drilled a hole there, and then I used the jeweler saw to cut out the rest of the eye.
